Availability of maternal healthcare continues to be an issue, particularly in rural towns where gynecologists and hospitals are not common. To make up for the deficit, we recommend GynoVend, a robotic telemedicine-powered vending machine exclusively meant for expectant mothers. The machine gives region-language voice prompts, which make it easily accessi-ble to even illiterate consumers. It takes critical health indicators like pulse, oxygen saturation, temperature, and weight before automatically linking the user to a gynecologist available on video call. Depending on the consultation of the doctor, the system provides prescribed medication and a diet plan based on the trimester phase. Online or offline payment can be made to ensure accessibility. Through the combination of IoT-based health monitoring, AI-powered voice assistance, and automated dispensing, GynoVend seeks to enhance maternal healthcare accessibility in rural communities. This article discusses the design, implementation, and effect of GynoVend in closing the healthcare gap for expectant mothers.
