The Educational Event Collaboration and Recommendation System is a smart mobile-based platform designed to enhance educational and collaborative event participation through intelligent recommendation and trust-based collaboration mechanisms. Traditional event management systems primarily rely on basic filtering techniques such as category and location, often resulting in less relevant event suggestions and limited user engagement. The proposed system addresses these limitations by integrating advanced recommendation techniques, including Jaccard Similarity for skill-to-event matching, Bayesian Rating for fair user evaluation, and a Trust Score Model based on user participation history, ratings, and sentiment analysis. The system enables users to register, create detailed profiles with skill tags, browse and manage events, submit join requests, communicate through real-time group chats, and provide post-event feedback. Event organizers can efficiently manage event participation through controlled approval workflows and capacity validation. Developed using Flutter for the frontend and Firebase services such as Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging for the backend, the system ensures secure access, real-time synchronization, scalability, and high performance. By combining intelligent recommendations, trust evaluation, and collaborative communication features, the platform improves event discovery, promotes meaningful collaborations, and enhances the overall learning and networking experience for users. The proposed solution provides a scalable, reliable, and research-driven framework for modern educational event management and collaboration.
